FAQ

  1. I’ve never done anything like this before. I’ve no idea what to expect and am nervous. Should I come?
  2. YES! Everyone will be nervous, it is entirely normal, but we have a beautiful, warming and welcoming evening planned. You can sit with a hot drink and biscuits and listen. There will be moments when you will feel fired up and have a chance to write brilliant bullet-point lists. These lists are supposed to be in your scruffiest handwriting without a thought for spelling or grammar as there are far too many other exciting things to think about.

  1. Is there parking?
  2. YES! There is a large car park.

  1. Do I have to stand up and speak in front of others?
  2. NO! We will do a brief introduction at the start where you might share your name and a couple of facts, but if you don’t want to, we can easily jump to the next person. You don’t have to share anything you write or your goals unless you want to.

  1. None of my friends wants to come, and I don’t think I can do it alone. What should I do?
  2. Please don’t worry if you don’t know anyone. This workshop is a very personal class. You will be focused on your stuff, so even if your friends were there, you wouldn’t have a chance to chat during the workshop.

  1. I heard there was going to be meditation. I’m no good at them and don’t think I can do it. Can I skip it?
  2. There will be a brief guided meditation. This entails you sitting comfortably in your chair and closing your eyes while I speak a few words. This meditation helps prepare and to strip back some of the baggage that holds us all back and has proven very useful. However, you get to choose whether you want to partake. My advice is to go with the flow and not to get stressed by the word ‘meditation’. It’s 5 minutes of peace and a lovely story.

  1. I want to come but really can’t afford it. What shall I do?
  2. Contact me! I have concessions available. My number is 07853756389

  1. I don’t want to do anything crazy. I’ve got enough on my plate right now. Why should I come?
  2. This workshop isn’t about jumping out of planes or abseiling off buildings (unless you want it to be). Having a direction in what you want to bring into and remove from your life is extremely powerful and can have a massive life changing and life affirming affect.

  1. I have no idea what my goals are. What if I don’t know what to do on the night?
  2. Whether you already have some ideas or none at all, this workshop will help you to figure your goals out, or you can have your money back.

  1. I saw it’s no children, but I’d like to bring my teenager, is that ok?
  2. YES! If you have a young person who will be happy to sit and listen, write lots of bullet points and will gain something from the workshop, they are welcome.

  1. What shall I bring?
  2. Pen and lots of paper.

  1. What shall I wear?
  2. anything you fancy!

  1. Is it suitable for children?
  2. I’m sorry. This event is unsuitable for children and will involve quiet, writing and music moments.

  1. What time does it finish?
  2. These workshops don’t have a defined finish time. However, it will most likely be around 8.30 but no later than 9pm.

  1. Where is it being held?
  2. Y Neuadd Fach, Porthyrhyd, Carmarthen, SA32 8PL
