A full day of imaginative play, teamwork and adventure where children work together to build and run their own mini community of shops. Along the way they’ll solve challenges, earn and spend Rebel Bucks, develop confidence, creativity, communication and problem-solving skills, and enjoy plenty of games, laughter and free play.

Venue – our lovely hall in Porthyrhyd SA32 8PL

What will we do?

Shop Building! Work together to design and build your own den shops, create signs, organise your stock, decide on prices, pay rent and tax, earn Rebel Bucks through exciting challenges and spend them in the shops (keeping everything you buy!). There’ll be lots of games in between and plenty of time to rest whenever anyone needs a break.

 

What they need:

  • Packed lunch
  • Drinks (water will also be available on site)
  • Suitable clothes for messy play and all weathers
  • Comfortable, sturdy shoes suitable for running and climbing
  • Sun cream applied before arrival (I’m also happy to help them reapply it during the day if needed, but please speak to me beforehand)
  • Anything else that helps them feel comfortable or that they’d like to bring for quieter times

 

 

This workshop is suitable for Rebels who are confident taking part in wide games that use both the indoor and outdoor spaces. While I will be supervising and supporting throughout, we may decide to have indoor and outdoor games in between shop time and there may be times during these games when children are out of my direct line of sight as they move around the site.

 

£30 per child

Second sibling: £20 (If booking through the website please make your booking for the first child and then a second booking for the second sibling using the code – sibling)
